Dial A Pilot, LLC ("Dial A Pilot," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Dial A Pilot mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App and related services.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Account registration: name and email address
Flight information: departure airport, arrival airport, airline, flight date, and flight number you enter into the App
Community content: any messages, posts, or feedback you submit within the App
Customer support: messages or information you send to us
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
Usage data: features accessed, session duration, in-app interactions, and crash reports
Purchase information: subscription status and transaction history (processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details)
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services
When you sign in using Apple Sign In, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features
Deliver turbulence reports, flight status information, and other content relevant to your entered flight
Process and manage your subscription through RevenueCat and Apple's in-app purchase system
Send you service-related communications (e.g., subscription confirmations, support responses)
Moderate community content and enforce our Terms of Use
Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience
Comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
3.1 Service Providers
RevenueCat: subscription management and purchase verification
Supabase: database hosting and backend infrastructure
Apple Inc.: authentication (Apple Sign In) and in-app purchase processing
Analytics providers: to help us understand app usage (data is aggregated or anonymized where possible)
